The Immediate Mobile Team

Immediate Mobile was started by two mobile technology enthusiast who recognized opportunities to improve mobile lifestyles, and deliver products that are ahead of their time, but long overdue. Pooling their business and technical experience they have built a talented team. The principals of the company are:

Jeremy Crane
Founder, Chief Executive Officer

As a passionate entrepreneur Jeremy recognized the market niche for mobile lifestyle products. Created by rapidly evolving technology and customer demand, the opportunity was exciting enough to leave strategy consulting at Bain & Company.

Prior to Bain, Jeremy was the founder and CEO of TTI, a Central American telephone service provider. At TTI he capitalized on innovations in telephony and a deregulating industry to bring reliable services to tens of thousands with minimal capital investments, thus driving huge value creation for his investors. Jeremy was also has an extensive sales, power and management background as the President and General Manager of Utila Power Company, Director of International Development for Tennessee Valley Infrastructure Group. His passion for a cleaner alternative is clear in these roles as he focused on wind power as a sustainable energy resource.

Jeremy has an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Jamie Tremaine
Founder, Chief Technical Officer

Jamie has a broad technical background, ranging from manufacturing to optimization. He is responsible for the technical development of Immediate Mobile.

Jamie started programming early, and has seen CGIs grow up into web frameworks. Originally coming from a machine design and automation background, Jamie is a serial entrepreneur, having developed a number of technologies to the commercialization level.

The first of these businesses came naturally out of a customer’s need to improve efficiency. To meet this need he founded Total Rail Analysis Corporation and developed an automated rail identification tool for the railway industry using a number of machine vision and machine intelligence techniques. He was able to achieve identification accuracies consistently in excess of 98.5% for Canadian Pacific Railway Rail. The speed, and accuracy of this tool far supplant what is possible by human visual inspection.

Following this project, Jamie developed a prototype for a Civil Engineering firm with the agreed intent of widespread commercialization. The tool enabled civil engineers to utilize recent advances in optimization to perform computer-assisted-engineering. The prototype was developed in a very short time frame, and met all its development and business targets.

Most recently, he developed prhymer; a web-based tool to assist in the creative writing process for lyrics and poetry.

Jamie has a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. with an option in Mechatronics.
